Project Description:
Jam Science AR was one of the first online Augmented Reality systems to use Flash, and was developed by Zupa.
The application makes use of a physics simulation, allowing pupils to adjust the strength and direction of magnets and fans using printed out AR markers. The user has to herd their ice skating cows through a series of increasingly difficult obstacle courses. The system allows for a more hands on and intuitive way of learning about forces and motion in a playful game environment.
The activity is designed to enable children to create their own obstacle courses for others to pit their wits against.
